Miss A. Weston

Headteacher & SENDCO

Hello, My name is Ms Weston and I am the Headteacher and SENDCO. It is my whole hearted belief that learning should be fun, child led and adventurous; just as it is at Crosby-on-Eden. As well as leading our exceptional school, I also teach R.E. and Philosophy for children(P4C) in KS2 - my two favourite subjects.

Class 1 - Nursery/Reception

Hello I’m Miss Kerr, I work in Class 1 and also teach Computing in Key Stage 2. I have worked at Crosby for 7 years now, and it is such a fun and friendly place to be. In my spare time I love to shop (especially in Cath Kidston) and visit my friends who live all around the country.

Class 2 - Year 1/2 - Starting September

Hello, my name is Mr Jones. I am extremely excited about working in Class 2 from September and in Crosby-on-Eden on a permanent basis. I love teaching and learning new things. I like to be outdoors in my spare time and particularly love to ski.

Class 3 - Year 3/4

My name is Mrs Ord and I teach in Class 3 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I love exploring topical subjects that are relevant and in the news as it allows me to learn with the children. When I’m not at school I spend my time with my daughter, preferably outdoors and whatever the weather; you can’t beat splashing in muddy puddles!

Class 3 and Forest Schools Teacher

Hello, I’m Mrs Pattinson. I share teaching class 3 with Mrs Ord, you can find me there on a Thursday and Friday. On a Monday I lead our exciting forest schools sessions across the school. I love spending time with my boys at home and have recently enjoyed starring in a pantomime.

My name is Miss Fox and I am really excited about teaching in Class 4. Most of my spare time is taken up spending time with my two lovely children although I do enjoy meeting friends, shopping and rock climbing. I enjoy teaching fun, creative and messy lessons!

Hi, I’m Miss Welsh and I am a Teaching Assistant in Class 1. When I am not in school I enjoy time with my partner, 2 young children and our crazy black Labrador.

Hi, I'm Mrs Owston and I work as a Teaching Assistant in Class 2. Away from school I love spending time with my husband, two children - who also attend Crosby School - and our two young cats Tigerlily and Willow!

Hello, I'm Mrs Dinwoodie and I'm probably one of the most fortunate people in school, in that I spend time in every class throughout the week. When I'm not whizzing between rooms, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and love a good book.

Hello, my name is Lydia Wood and I am the School Business Manager & Clerk to the Governors. If I’m not looking at spreadsheets or under a mountain of paperwork, I am spending time with my family, browsing antique shops, gardening or walking

My name is Mrs Potts and I have been at Crosby since 2011. I love to feed people so I love it when the children say they have enjoyed their school dinners. I also love walking my dog “Blade” (who is like a pony) and “Elle” (who looks like a sheep.)

Hi, I’m Maureen. I have worked at the school for 11 years as part of the lunch time team. I enjoy baking, walking, eating out and looking after my granddaughters.

Hello, I’m Lesley and I’m part of the lunch time team. I live on a farm and enjoy spending time with my animals and family.



School Cleaner

Hello I am Debbie Gibson and I have been the school cleaner since 2009. I love working here with my friends and try to keep your school as clean as possible. I like to be happy and smile at everyone; being kind to all those I meet.
