Key stage 2 have learned how to sing and sign the words of ‘This Is Me’ – they sound and look fantastic
What a pleasure it was to take year 5/6 to Lockerbie this year! The whole trip was full of fun, laughter and determination. Every child proved to be a credit to Crosby School, with each instuctor commenting on the children's behaviour, attitude and enthusiasm to get 'stuck' in with some very challenging activities. Here is a taste of our adventures.
Class 4 have been working on a maths project, where they were given the opportunity to plan and deliver practical maths activities to the whole school. They took their role very seriously; researching the 'Early Learning Goals' and 'National Curriculum' to find out what the children should be learning in different age groups.
The children used the whole school grounds to carry out their activities. Here's what some of the children had to say about this...
"We had lots of opportunities to work problems out together".
"Activities were challenging".
"Maths was fun and interactive".
"We loved the running game because we could learn about maths too".
"Class 4 explained the task well".
Everyone was asking when we could do it all again. What a successful morning; well done class 4!
